Creative Challenge
Vox Media and Slack approached Fox&Co Design to create a video using a variety of artists around the world and use Slack as our means to communicate throughout the project in an effort to explain and visualise why, when using Slack, time zones are no longer obstacles to today’s teams.
Our Solution
The Fox&Co team handled the video from conception to completion within an 8 week production timeline. In order to achieve the project objective, Fox&Co worked with diverse and specialised artists, including video editors, illustrators, 2D and 3D specialists, 3D modellers, and traditional animators across locations spanning from New York and Canada to New Zealand, Chile and Slovenia. Each with their own task, the producer team managed client communication, feedback and reverts with artists and the team on a daily basis to ensure that the team was working around the clock.
Fox&Co successfully delivered on the project objectives, proving that time zones are in fact no longer an obstacle for working collaboratively with teams across the world, using a platform like slack to communicate with ease.
